冲压机械工作特点是，工作作用力大，循环时间短，操作为简单重复动作，长时间作业极易造成操作工人因操作疲劳而出现失误，造成事故，因此，冲压机械作业具有较大的危险性。通过对冲压机械进行自动化改造，可以有效减轻工人的作业强度，从而保证工人的操作安全，减少或防止事故的发生，实现冲压机械的本质安全化
