[摘要] 船舶自动识别系统AIS是一种新型的船舶辅助导航设备,国际海事组织已经通过了AIS强制性安装规定. AIS用于自动连续发出本船静态、动态和航次信息、安全短消息,同时也自动接收周围船舶发出的这些信息,并与海岸基站进行信息交互,达到船舶避碰、领航调度和航运管理等航行辅助决策的目的.而AIS消息处理的研究对深入理解AIS消息及基于AIS信息的辅助决策具有重要意义. 本文结合工作实践，介绍了AIS的结构、功能和技术特点，工作原理，存在的优点与缺点，其在航海中避碰的运用以及它在港行物流系统中的应用研究。

AIS characteristics and applications on the Sea

[Abstract] AIS is a new type of ship-assisted navigation equipment，International Maritime Organization has adopted the mandatory installation of AIS requirement。AIS is used to automatically issue of the ship for static, dynamic and voyage information，security short message , at the same time also automatically receives this information sent by the ship around, and exchange information with the Coast Stations, so as to achieve voyage decision-making of ship collision avoidance ,the pilot scheduling, and shipping management and so on. Make study of the AIS message handling is of great significance to in-depth understanding of AIS message and make auxiliary decision which based on AIS message. The passage based marine practice, described the AIS structure, function and technical characteristics and some use in the Sea，Its advantages and disadvantages exist and its use in the port logistics system .
