太平人寿复业经营虽晚,但发展极为迅速,己成为中国寿险市场中增长最
快的保险公司。其成功的关键在于太平人寿根据内外部环境选择了合适的成长
战略,不断培育自身独特的核心竞争能力。本文运用经济学和战略管理的相关
理论,从实证研究的角度,对太平人寿的战略和核心竞争力进行较系统的研究
和剖析,从中得出一些对中小企业具有借鉴意义的启示。本文的创新点主要有:
(l)采用改进的波特六种力量分析模型,进行产业环境分析;(2)在战略和
核心竞争力分析中,引进了全新的资源杠杆理论。全文共分四部分。
第一部分:太平人寿简介。介绍了太平的历史、现状、股权构成以及复业
经营不到一年的经营业绩。
第二部分:太平人寿发展战略的选择。首先,建立了PEST模型,对外部
经济环境、政治法律环境和文化环境以及寿险业的发展趋势进行了实证研究。
随后,运用迈克尔.波特的竞争理论,对太平人寿的产业环境进行了分析,并运
用赫弗因德指数分析了寿险业的市场结构,在此基础上,依据SwOT模型和
GE矩阵模型,阐述太平人寿实行成长型战略和差异化战略的必然性。
第三部分:提升太平人寿战略实施中的核心竞争力。这部分以企业资源基
础理论、企业能力理论和资源杠杆战略理论为框架,探讨太平人寿核心竞争力
的来源和创造消费者剩余的途径。太平人寿的核心竞争力的组成要素有二:合
作和创新,其培育途径有:合作、整合、专注、积累、创新、平衡和企业文化。
第四部分:太平人寿战略实施中应注意的问题。笔者在认真分析太平人寿
成功经验时,注意到一些亚待解决的四个问题,这对保持该公司的动态竞争优
势,具有至关重要的作用。
