Abstract
Jane Eyre is written by famous talented English critical realist woman novelist Charlotte Bronte. It is an excellent autobiographical works. In the novel, the author shapes an independent woman who pursues true love and equality. And she is a good example of all women. Jane was born in a poor family and became an orphan, and then she was sent to Lowood Institution, living hard, but she never give up, and finally, she became a versatile Miss. She pursues true love and is loyal and steadfast to her beloved man. Her kindness, intelligence, and independence attract the hero. At last she gets a perfect love. How could Jane become a successful female? The most important reason is: Jane loved learning and obtained the momentum of survival, growth and struggling for happiness and freedom. The females today and men have the equally power. They go out of home to enjoy their wonderful life. So the females today need more knowledge to improve and enrich ego. This paper will explain that knowledge is very important to females, especially to the females today. It will deal with the effects of knowledge on Jane, and then make further analysis on the significance which knowledge brings to the females today. The author hopes that this study can benefit for more females today.
