“培训”这一名称是人们对舶来品理解与翻译的结果。在职进修一说来自美国于 90年代提出的School-based In-service-Education Model。我国的在职进修起步于 90年代后期,是伴随着“八五”师资培训的进程而逐渐探索形成的。1999年教育部在《关于实施“中小学教师继续教育工程”的意见》中明确指出“中小学是教师继续教育的重要基地,……,各中小学都要制定教师培训计划,建立教师培训档案,组织多种形式的培训。”至此,培训之词在官方文件中首次被明确提出。近几年我们分别从不同角度阐述了培训“是什么”、“为什么”、“怎么样”的问题。在此基础上我对幼教系统培训核心理念的认识、嘉定幼教系统培训体系、嘉定区幼教培训制度中存在的问题、完善嘉定区幼教系统培训体系的思考等方面作了进一步研究。
