Abstract:The effects of activated-sludge treatment of heavy metal-containing wastewater are discussed in respect of different types of activated sludge and treatment of different heavy metals.The mechanisms of activated-sludge treatment of heavy metal-containing wastewater are analyzed,with possible ways put forward to improve the treatment capability of activated sludge,which provide some references for the improvement and perfection of the study of activated-sludge treatment of heavy metal-containing wastewater.
