Abstract: Questioning is one of the most common teaching activity in English classes. It is important to carry out efficient English classes and improve students` comprehension ability by researching teachers` questioning behaviors and questioning strategies. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of English teachers` questioning strategies based on analysis of questionnaires collected in one middle school in Si Chuan province. It is hoped to optimize and improve the classroom input quality, so as to improve foreign language classroom teaching efficiency.

摘要:提问是英语教学活动中最常见的教学手段,对于教师提问行为和提问策略的研究对于提高课堂效率和增加学生口语输出具有十分重要的意义,本篇论文通过对四川某中学英语教师的课堂行为进行分析以及对学生进行问卷调查从而提出了有效地提问策略,通过这一研究来提高英语课堂的教学效率以及教学水平。
