Abstract
The bioremediation technology is a innovative method, which utilizes microbial technologies and environmental engineering measures and is used in situ to treat the toxic and hazardous organic pollutants in soil, groundwater and oceans. This paper introduced the outline about this new technology study and reviewed the ways to enhance natural biodegradation processes , the engineering methods to apply bioremediation technology and the procedure to evaluate the feasibility of bioremediation technology. Several case studies of bioremediation were also listed at the mean time.
