Abstract
Today, advertisement is very important in the world. The intensification of international exchanges involves a growing need for communication and thus of translation. The amount of advertising translations is already substantial and keeps increasing. In this regard, it follows the opening of new linguistic areas to international trade. The media are more and more varied: the press, the radio, television, and the Internet. The multinational advertising agencies, the cross-border television networks, and the success achieved by multilingual publications have contributed to the expansion of this phenomenon. Different country has different culture, and the specific surely has strong impact on the certain language. American Marketing Manager’s Handbook points out that an advertisement should have four functions: AIDA, which represent four words—Attention, Interest, Desire, Action. 在当今世界,广告在这个世界上占据着非常重要的位置,在当今的社会和世界对广告翻译的需求大大增加,现在的数量已经相当可观,而且还在不断的不断的飞速增加.在这一点上,它涉及到了语言学和文化的领域。媒体的种类是越来越多:新闻媒体、收音机,电视和英特网。跨国公司广告社, 跨边电视网络, 这些一系列的改变使得广告翻译的需求供不应求。它不是仅仅源自计算机科学词汇改变名称而来,但要彻底改变就得从真正的性质和语言和文化的转让方式入手,从一种语言变为一门学问。本文详细的介绍了翻译的发生及演变过程,在国际广告翻译中,文化扮演一个主角,翻译不仅应该履行原广告的功能,而且应该符合目标语言的文化背景。本文着重表明了文化在国际广告翻译中的作用。四种最基本的翻译方法是最充足丰富的例子。它设法展示文化相等的意义和说明每种方法的适用性和可行性。所以,在某中意义上来说的话,广告的翻译就显得尤为重要。市场的需求导致了大量的广告翻译人才的出现,他对全球经济的推动,和不同民族不同文化的人们的相互了解起了一个不可代替的作用。广告翻译在语言上有着他非常独特的一面,在不同的民族和文化里,同一个词可能有好多种意思,也许在中国是褒义,可是到了法国或者美国就成了贬义,所以在广告的翻译中有着很多的技巧,他是一门很独特很有意思的学问。本文正是对广告翻译这一课题进行了语言,人文,上的研究。从广告的定义和特点入手,并举例分析,最后总结翻译技巧。
