Luminescence characterization of cerium doped yttrium gadolinium aluminate phosphors

a b s t r a c t
Yttrium gadolinium aluminate ((Y1àxGdx)3Al5O12:Ce) doped cerium phosphors with the different yttriumand gadolinium concentration were prepared by a wet-chemical route via the reagent simultaneous addi-tion technique (WCS-SimAdd). The phosphors were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanningelectron microscopy (SEM) and photoluminescence (PL), radioluminescence (RL) of cerium doped yttriumgadolinium aluminate phosphors. With increasing Gd dopant concentration, the PL intensity was shiftedto the red region. Preliminary RL measurements were performed to further eva luate these newly pre-pared materials. Intense RL was observed that is typical of Ce3+doped structure.
摘要:采用通过试剂同时加入技术(WCS-SimAdd)的湿式化学法来制备不同钇和钆的浓度的情况下的掺铈钇钆铝酸盐荧光粉((Y1-xGdx)3Al5O12:Ce)。并通过X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)光致发光(PL)和辐射发光(RL)来测定铈掺杂钇钆铝酸盐荧光粉的发光特性。随着钆的掺杂浓度的升高,荧光粉的PL强度移到红光区域。初步进行的RL测定,是为了进一步评估这些预先准备好的新材料。RL结果的峰值显示该说明是典型的Ce3 + 掺杂结构。
