摘要 目前,液晶显示器因成为平板显示的新宠儿,并且在未来的日子里必定会代替CRT显示器的存在,成为主流的显示器,但是LCD本身并不会发光,需要背光模组来实现发光显示的功能,所以背光模组渐渐成为了液晶显示的主流装配。随着背光模组向着轻薄化的发展,对于背光模组中的重要组件导光板的设计也成了当前的热门课题,背光模组的发展也就和导光板的高效设计和制造息息相关了。本文所研究的重点在于导光板在小尺寸的侧光式背光模组中的设计方法。
本文第一部分首先介绍的是显示技术的基础,并且介绍了多种的显示技术。然后介绍了液晶显示和导光板的发展现状以及将来的发展趋势。最后介绍了本文主要研究的内容。
第二部分介绍了非成像光学的发展情况,阐述了成像光学与非成像光学的不同,之后介绍了非成像光学基本概念,并对一些基本参数进行介绍,详细介绍了两个重要的参量:能量收集率、光学扩展量。
第三部分首先介绍了液晶显示技术的基本原理和组成,并且对背光模组各组件进行说明和分析,之后详细介绍了侧光式背光模组中重要部件导光板的工作原理和光学制作方法,阐明一些设计过程中需要的理论基础。
第四部分先阐述了几何光学中一些基本原理在导光板中的运用,然后介绍了比较成熟的网点设计理论,介绍模拟使用的设计软件LIGHTTOOLS所具备的功能,详细说明了其中的优化模块。然后使用LIGHTTOOLS对不同网点结构设计的导光板进行光线追迹,之后再进行分析它们对光线的引导效果,并在此基础上,进行优化,设计出一款均匀度达到85%的背光模组结构模型。
最后就是对所研究的内容归纳分析,并给出以后所要研究的方向道路。

LIGHTTOOLS used in the light guide plate design


Abstract Currently, due to liquid crystal display becomes the new darling of the flat panel display, and in the coming days will certainly replace the presence of CRT monitors, but the LCD itself does not glow, is the need for light-emitting display backlight, LED backlight gradually become the mainstream of the liquid crystal display configuration, however, since the light guide plate having a light guide functions and becomes the most important components of the backlight modules. With the backlight modules toward the light of the development, the design of the light guide plate has become the current hot topic, how to use the light guide plate to transform point or line source into surface source with uniform light, and efficient conduct design and production are closely related to backlight modules’ development. In this paper, the study is the small size guide plate of the edge-type backlight modules’ design.
The first part introduces the basic display technology, and introduces a variety of display technologies. Then that introduces the development status and the future trend of development of LCD and the light guide plate. Finally, this paper describes the contents of the study.
The second part describes the development of non-imaging optics, describes various imaging optics and non-imaging optics, and then introduces the basic concepts of non-imaging optics, and some basic parameters are introduced, detailing two important parameters: Concentration Ratio and .
The third part introduces the basic principles of LCD technology and composition, and the various components of the backlight modules description and analysis, followed by a detailed description of works of the light guide plate which is important parts of the edge-type backlight modules, clarify some design process requires theoretical basis.
Fourth section describes some of the basic principles of geometric optics in the use of the light guide plate, then introduces several network design theory, the light guide plate analog design software LIGHTTOOLS software features, and then using this software to perform several different light guide structure ray tracing analyzed the effect of different light guide structure of the light guide plate, and the uniformity of the design optimization of the ideal structure of the light guide plate model.
Finally, the subject of this study are summarized, and pointed out what can be done in the future work.
The final step is to analyze the contents and gives the future direction of the road of studied.
