摘 要:随着因特网的发展,核心网逐步形成了以光纤线路为基础的高速信道,但是接入网的发展却不尽人意。国际权威专家认为接入网是信息基础建设的“瓶颈”,也是实现信息高速公路的关键。所以现今涌现出了不少接入技术,EPON则是其中的一种比较好的技术,并且是将来接入网的一个发展趋势,本文将介绍EPON并说明它的不足之处。
Abstract: As the development of the internet ,nore network has formed the channel at a high speed based on optic fibre circuit progressively , but the development of the access network is less than satisfactory. The international authoritative expert thinks that the access network is " bottleneck " of capital construction of the information and also the key to realizing the information superhighway. So much Access technology emerge now .EPON is a kind of better technology among them and one development trend of access network in the future, this text recommend EPON and prove weak point of it.
