随着三维CAD软件技术的日益成熟，市场的日益扩大，制造企业普遍认识到应用三维CAD软件是传统产业技术改造的必由之路。目前市场上主流的三维CAD软件如：UG(EDS公司)、Pro/E(PTC公司)、CATIA（IBM/Dassault公司）等，其功能涵盖了三维造型、装配、分析仿真、虚拟制造和产品数据管理等方面，形成了三维CAD技术的高端应用市场，国内外的汽车、航天航空、造船和机床等行业均已全面采用上述三维CAD软件进行产品的设计和制造，国内的如：西飞、航天三院、上汽、长安汽车、昆明机床厂、哈尔滨汽轮机厂、广西玉柴股份有限公司等都采用了上述软件。
但是，如何选择合适的三维CAD软件，仍然是一个问题，要考虑CAD软件的价格是否可以承受、功能是否够用、使用是否方便和开放性是否好等诸多问题。
在国内高端三维CAD市场上，UG、Pro/E、CATIA已被国内的航天航空、汽车、发动机和模具等行业的众多企业所采用，极大地促进了这些企业的技术创新和市场竞争力。
Abstract:One that is with three-dimensional CAD software engineering is ripe day by day, the enlargement day by day of the market, manufacturing companies generally realize that it is an only way of traditional industrys technological transformation to use three-dimensional CAD software. Three-dimensional CAD software of the mainstream on the market at present, for instance: UG (EDS Company ) , Pro/E (PTC Company ) , CATIA (IBM/Dassault Company ) ,etc., have contained the three-dimensional model, assembled, analysed such respects as emulation , fictitious making and products data management ,etc. in its function, have formed using the market advancedly of three-dimensional CAD technology, such trades as domestic and international automobile , spaceflight aviation , shipbuilding and lathe ,etc. have already adopted above-mentioned three-dimensional CAD software to carry on the design and manufacture of the products in an all-round way , domestic like: The west fly , spaceflight three institute , go to vapour , Chang An automobile , factory , Guangxi Yuchai Limited Company ,etc. , machine tool plant of Kunming and steam turbine of Harbin adopt above-mentioned software.
But how about choose suitable three-dimensional CAD software, remain a question, is it consider price , CAD of software can bear , function enough it uses to be convenient and opening a great deal of questioning such as being fine to want.
